MARRIAGE| NOW AND FUTURE as YAHVAH Reigns even in Our Private Life

Shalom Hebrew Believers about to become man and wife!

Beauties of Marriage Likened to YaHVaH’s Kingdom in Tomorrow's World.

Isaiah 61:10-11 I will greatly rejoice in YaHVaH, my soul shall be joyful in my Elohim; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.
For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so YaHVaH ELOHIM will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.

62: Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of YaHVaH, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy Elohim.
Isa 62:4 Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for YaHVaH delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.
Isa 62:5 For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy Elohim rejoice over thee.
Isa 62:10 Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.

Jeremiah 33: And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first.
:8 And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they have transgressed against me.
And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honour before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure unto it.
Thus saith YaHVaH; Again there shall be heard in this place, which ye say shall be desolate without man and without beast, even in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, that are desolate, without man, and without inhabitant, and without beast,
The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise YaHVaH of hosts: for YaHVaH is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: and of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of YaHVaH. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, saith YaHVaH.

Heb 13:4 Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers Elohim will judge.

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
So that we may boldly say, YaHVaH is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

JOY IN BEING MARRIED TO YaHVaH
What defines a marriage, and what is “consummation”?

Judges_15:1 But it came to pass within a while after, in the time of wheat harvest, that Samson visited his wife with a kid; and he said, I will go in to my wife into the chamber. But her father would not suffer him to go in.
Exodus_22:16 **And if a man entice a maid that is not betrothed, and lie with her, he shall surely endow her to be his wife.
If her father utterly refuse to give her unto him, he shall pay money according to the dowry of virgins.

Consummation with YaHOSHA in Yerushalayim:
Rev 19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honor to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of Elohim.

In my house, we will serve YaHVaH. People might make the comment, “You are the Lord of my life; YaHVaH, please stay out of my bedroom”.  That is as if YaHVaH has no domain in our personal life.  Father has dominion over our life.  Romans 8:7 says, "The carnal mind is not subject to the law, for it is enmity against YaHVaH, neither indeed can be."  The false statement that "I'm not under the law" will not hold-up under YaHVaH's perfect judgment.  That phrase means "I am not under the temple law with it's sacrifices.  Messiah is the offering, the Perfect Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Adam and Eve rebelled directly against their Creator. Havah/Eve was deceived, but Adam’ knew better.
I Timothy 2:14. He meekly followed his wife and gave in to the path of least resistance. All sins of mankind that followed Adam's sin have followed a similar pattern. **
Abram lied about Sarai being his sister when she was his wife. He feared for his life. They did this twice.
Genesis 12:10-20, and chapter 20. Later, Sarah and Abraham lacked faith in God's promise to give them a son in their old age and tried to work it out through a "surrogate mother" Hagar.
This was the sin of adultery, a great wrong, Genesis 16:1-5.

Take note of Pharaoh, an unbeliever and compare him to a believer in today’s culture.  Here is Pharaoh’s response in Gen. 12:18, “What is this that thou hast done unto me?  Why didst thou not tell me that she was thy wife?”  He did not use any such alibi as one might use today, “I am not under the Law but under grace”.

Idolatry, fornication, adultery and materialism are also modern problems.
Leviticus 18:6-30 Sex sins of Canaanites.  No one should practice pagan sins, it will defile the land.
19:20 Fornication with bond maidens.
19:29  Do not prostitute thy daughter.

Leviticus 20:10-21 Adultery, incest, sodomy, bestiality.  Death penalties under the civil law of Moses were added, until the time of reformation when the New Covenant was instituted around the year 33 A.D...But still, "The wages of sin is death, and rewards of heaven are eternal life".  Romans 3:23
Leviticus 21:7 Do not marry a whore or divorcee (Deut. 22:13-21 what virginity is).
24:22 There is one manner of law for the stranger and for the home borne.  This is not for priest only, but for all Israeyl Romans 11, all of us who have been grafted-in to YaHOSHA, King of the Universe.

Marriage is for life      (excerpts from Giving and Sharing)

In the past, several Churches of God and many Protestant leaders have almost uniformly perverted scriptures such as Genesis 2:24, allowing divorce and remarriage contrary to the Bible. Twisted human reasoning born out of physical lust and perverted minds have come up with all sorts of aberrant ideas supposedly allowing divorce and remarriage, interracial marriage, and even acceptance of homosexuality. We are not talking about Protestants and Catholics. We are talking about avowed Sabbath-keepers. They are not converted inwardly.

One man said that "God didn't condemn David for marrying more than one wife; G_d allows a man to have more than one wife by divorcing and remarrying."

Psalm 51 David confessed his sins and then said, "Create in me a clean heart, O YaH; and renew a right spirit within me."

A minister (falsely) claiming to be "conservative" says that "except it be for fornication" in Matthew 19:9 means "Except it be for fraud or some other problem."  This may not be true.  It might open the barn door to a married spouse seeking a divorce, with the objection "When we were engaged, he (or she) claimed to have millions of dollars.  But they lied.  So I can have a divorce."  Wrong!
On the other hand, if someone promises to make and keep the wedding covenant and in a short time breaks all promises, is unfaithful, and bails-out on the spouse, this might be a violation of the Covenant possibly making the marriage null and void.  Lying and defrauding one another are serious breaches of contract.  (This is the opinion of the website author based on scriptures about defrauding.  The jury is still out on this.)

Thousands of Sabbath keepers condemned television evangelist Jim Bakker for his much publicized adultery. Yet these same people are promoting adultery right in the church by accepting, tolerating and promoting false divorce and remarriage teachings.

Suppose you are divorced and struggling to raise a family alone? Or maybe you have never married and can't seem to find the right mate? Satan is bombarding you with thoughts of discouragement, and in many cases, wrong physical desires. Do not yield to sin. If you are divorced or separated from your true mate, do not yield to sin and remarry, which is adultery. If you are eligible to marry, do not hastily rush into an ill-conceived union. Sexual sins and lusts still plague many Sabbath keepers, both men and women. Many ministers actually promote doctrines which encourage sexual sins. We need to rid our lives of these sins.

Invite YaHVaH and The Word in your life to specify what morality (or ethics), even what standard for living will be followed.  The standard is The Torah, the Word. Let us invite YaH into our very lives, our bedrooms and into every domain.

IsaiYah 8:19-20 “If we speak not according to the Torah and the Testimony, we have no light in us.”
Repent and be immersed in the Name of Yahosha see Acts 2:38.
1 John 2:6.  If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins
Romans 10:9; John 3 “Except a man be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of YaHVaH.”
Ephesians 2:8-10 For by unmerited favor through faith are we saved, not by meager works of man, least anyone could boast.  Luke 13 “Be converted and repent.”

Romans 7:2. "For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband,"
Hebrews 13:4  "Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge,".

YaHOSHA is our Deliverer and gives the free gift of Salvation.  If we walk with Him, YaHOSHA will see that our spirit will be acceptable to YaHVaH and have Eternal life.

A FORMER 'OFFENDER'.   Immorality Admitted, repented of.

Deuteronomy 22:22> Exodus 22:16; Leviticus 19:20

WHO is a sex-offender?  Anyone who has had relations out of marriage, as in pre-marital relations.
The STATE (as in a State in America) considers the "age of accountability" around 16 or 18 years old.
Father YaHVaH says in Deuteronomy 22:22 "If a man be found lying with a woman married to an husband, then they shall both of them die, both the man that lay with the woman, and the woman: so shalt thou put away evil from Israel."

There is no age limit.  We must encourage one another to stay pure.  If we compromise and sin, we must repent, confess our sin, strive never to sin again.  Our sins are under the Blood of Messiah YaHOSHA, and will not be remembered nor mentioned at the judgment of believers.  We have been redeemed.  However, without Messiah's offering on the tree at Calvary, there is no redemption, no eternal life:  Only judgment.

23 If a damsel that is a virgin be betrothed unto an husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her; 24Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not, being in the city; and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbour's wife: so thou shalt put away evil from among you.  [Please continue with your own study and research.]

"As a young, unconverted man (who wishes to remain unnamed) in 1965 a mature person encouraged me to date a young woman and steal her virginity. Jackie was 18, of "legal age", meaning "open game". She cried! Years later YaHVaH by His Son saved me. I often think of Jackie and worry about her. I pray that one selfish, unthoughtful action did not alter the rest of her life. I took something very precious from Jackie, a young woman who loved her friends dearly, whether they returned the love or not. If I could return ALL the wasted years, take away the hurt, and make her be blessed I would leap for joy. I would make reparations now. I love her." There is no age for open game no matter what the law of the land may be at the time.
Although there were many conditions at the time a young couple married in some foolish understanding, the fact remains that we ought to heed the Scriptures, take them seriously, and do our very best to love Father YaHVaH.

Exodus 34:5 "And YaHVaH descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the Name of YaHVaH.
6 And YaHVaH passed by before him, and proclaimed, YaHVaH, YaHVaH Elohim merciful and gracious (giving unmerited favor) longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,  Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation."
Repent and be baptized in the Name of YaHOSHA.  Acts 2
IF we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9
YHVH's Word, not necessarily the State Marriage Certificate, seals the Scriptural Marital Covenant.

The Late Negro Singer, Gene McDaniels 1962 in his song, "Chip Chip" warned that a little leaven leavens the whole   lump. Here is a snippet:  " Chip Chip, You tell a little lie; Chip, Chip, You make your baby cry. Chip, Chip, You Cheat a little bit; Chip, Chip:  you quarrel over it.  Oh, Oh, One Day your going to discover; one little wrong, leads to another.  Chip, Chip; Chipping away; Chipping at Your Mansion of Love."

Shalom, If you have a question, about divorce and remarriage, ask.  I'll try to answer in a short period of time.

Review: "Is There Life After Divorce?" This is a refutation of Ronald L. Dart’s article in the February, 1990, issue of The International News. He is wrong in saying that no marriage is binding for life. New Testament usage of the word for fornication "porneia" does not support divorce and remarriage for adultery.

                                        Purim and Truth

We are told that Queen Esther and Mordicai laid down their lives which helped save all YaHudim.
Does Purim, the case for divorce, condone divorce and remarriage for any cause? Will YaHVaH bless us if the "end justifies the means" is our mantra?

Esther 1-2 noted, the case is made by some religious teachers condoning divorce and remarriage. But Esther and King Ahasuerus never consumated a "marriage".
But what of Esther 2:17 it is written "the king LOVED Esther above all the women...set the royal crown upon her head and made her queen instead of Vashti?Love in Hebrew aw-hab or awhabe "to love or have affection for"; To like; befriend. The Scripture that is YaHVaH would not use a sinful action to save the Jews. the account of Esther can be read and understood at face value, not by reading anything else into it or by private interpretation. she found grace and favor (khesed). There never was an official blessing or condoning of the divorced King into a second marriage, not with Queen Esther. The case for divorce is first found in Deuteronomy 22 when a newly wedded discovered his spouse had lain with another man previously.  This is later reflected in the Gospels. Sadly, even the KJV used the term "except for adultery".  Instead, it should read "except for FORNICATION" (Greek 'Pornea')  May you be blessed for your fidelity to the Scriptures, the Messiah and your Spouse.
