What does Scripture say about Hebrews going into combat? What are the imperatives to a Nation that needs a blessing?
Roman 2:28-29 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
Rom 2:29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of Elohim.
The term, Gentile, is applied often to the Diaspora, the scattered twelve tribes. Hebrew is the prevalent generation above all peoples; most of the “Gentiles” have been eliminated. Meaning that most of us are not the Gentiles some wished we were. Hopefully they do not run around like a bunch of rebellious, uncircumcised buffoons. But some are born of Greece; they are Gentiles.
If we are Gentile, do we abide by our Gentile covenant and belief? No there is no Gentile covenant. Hebrews 8:10 is for ALL nations.
--- The Two Sins of Yisrael, Then and Now:
What were the worst sins of Yisrael, past and present? Many speakers forget that DISOBEDIENCE to the Word caused Yisrael to fall and be hated.
Yes, they rejected the Old and New Testament Mighty One of Yisrael.
Many of Israel (Jeshurun) wax fat, forget the Eternal, lack faith, and worship other elohim,
Deuteronomy 32:15-31 and 32-33, "For their vine is of the vine of Sodom, and of the fields of Gomorrah" The result is YaHVaH’s judgment vs 34-43.
Genesis 49:10-12, "The Sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto Him shall the gathering of the people be.."
JeremiYaH_16:19 Oh! YaHVaH, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.
Ezekiel 20:16 For they rejected My laws, did not walk in My rulings and profaned My Sabbath—for their heart went after their idols.
:18 “I said to their children in the wilderness, ‘Do not walk in the statutes of your fathers, do not keep their ordinances, do not defile yourselves with their idols'.
:19 I am YAHVAH your Elohim; walk in My statutes, and keep My judgments, and do them; And set-apart My Sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between Me and you, that ye may know that I am YAHVAH your Elohim.
Matt. 16:26 "For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
PERSECUTION for the TRUTH:
"..for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. Matthew 13
:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Messiah? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
Romans 8:35
:12 Yea, and all that will live YaHVaH like in Messiah YaHOSHA shall suffer persecution. 13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of Elohim or YaH, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of Elohim or YaH may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
Salvation through faith which is in Messiah YaHOSHA. 2 Timothy 3:12-17.
“TWO NEW COVENANTS, ONE FOR THE JEWS, THE OTHER FOR THE GENTILES?” NO!
YeremiYah 31 refers to the one New Covenant. Hebrews 8 & 10 addresses Judah Southern Kingdom and “Israel Northern Kingdom.
If you've been grafted into the good Olive Tree, justified by Faith in the true Messiah, baptized into His Name, confessed Him and repented, and even have called upon the Name of YaHVaH, you have been saved from death. Here is proof: Romans 11, 2:29,
Ephesians 2:12, That at that time ye were without YaHOSHA, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without YaH in the world:
Colossians 2:9-14 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
Galatians 3:29 And if ye be YaHOSHA Messiah’s, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Deuteronomy 10:16 Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiff-necked.
Question: Is your National leader Torah observant?
Does he break the Scriptural commandment for State laws.
Does your country observe the Sabbath and moral laws?
IV. NATIONAL DEFENSE
A. YaHVaH is ultimate military leader, who gives victory: Exodus 23:22
B. Poll tax to be taken with all military registration: Ex. 30:11-16
C. Duties of chaplains: Deuteronomy. 20:2-4
D. All able-bodied males 20 years and older responsible for national defense: Num. 1:1-4
E. Soldiers to choose their own combat leaders: Deut. 20:9
F. No one may be forced into combat: Deut. 20:8
G. Mandatory deferments
Those engaged to be married deferred: Deut. 20:7
Newly-married men to be deferred for one year: Deut. 24:5
Those who have built a new house deferred until they dedicate it to YaH: Deut. 20:5
Those who have just planted crops or established a new business deferred until they can leave without endangering their enterprise: Deut. 20:6
H. Declarations of war, conduct of war, and peace terms: Deut. 20:10-20
PRAYER FOR NATIONS
IsaiYaH 56:7 these I will bring to My Pure mountain, and let them rejoice in My House of Prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be acceptable on My altar. For My House will be called a House of Prayer for all nations.”
Proverbs_28:9 He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.
YeremiYah_11:14 As for you, you are not to pray for this people or lift up supplication or prayer for them, for I will not hear them at the time they cry to out to Me because of their disaster.”
Lamentations_3:8 Even when I cry out and call for help, He shuts out my prayer.
vs. :44 Thou hast shrouded Thyself with a cloud so that no prayer can get through.
Luke 19:12 He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return.
:13 And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.
:14 But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us.
:27 But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.
Are we keeping Passover Supper on Aviv 14 correctly, or Sunday communion instead, when convenient (but NOT the Passover)?

The “Stranger” by the sea
The strangers to YaH, His grace and His love, were gathered by blue Galilee, to listen with joy to words from lips of the Hebrew Messiah (not “stranger” goyim) Who sat by the sea.
Chorus: They came and they were blest, He gave the weary rest, He made the blinded eyes to see; He fed the hungry soul, and made the wounded whole, by the waters of blue Galilee.

Ezekiel_44:9 Thus saith YaHVaH Elohim; No stranger, uncircumcised in heart, nor uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary, of any stranger that is among the children of Israel.
