Joshua 24:15 (with JeremiYah quotation above) And if it seem evil unto you to serve YaHVaH, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the elohim which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve YaHVaH.

1 Kings 16:31 as if it had been a light thing for him (Ahab) to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took to wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Zidonians, and went and served Baal, and worshipped him.

1 Kings 18:21 "..as if it had been a light thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took to wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Zidonians, and went and served Baal, and worshipped him.
1Ki 12:28 Whereupon the king took counsel, and made two calves of gold, and said unto them, It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem: behold thy elohim, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

 9:4 "..wherewith Abimelech hired vain and light persons, which followed him."

Matthew 18:20 “Where two or three gather in My Name”

Is YaHVaH’s Name a SECRET?
Judges 13:18 in Strongs H #6383 (wonderful not secret) And the angel of YaHVaH said unto him, Why askest thou thus after my name, seeing it is secret (wonderful)?

"Secret"or, "wonderful"; It was because his name was secret that Manoah wished to know it. But the angel does not say it was secret, but "hoo pailee,"it is wonderful;" the very character given to the Messiah: "His name shall be called pailai, Wonderful," Isa_9:6. Quotation from www.ESword.com
SECRET- H#5641 and #5475 in Strongs Concordance. This word "secret" is not used in Scripture, in referring to YaHVaH's Name.

Wonderful:  IsaiYah 9:6 (His Name is called “Wonderful, Counselor”) For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his Name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty Yah, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever.
.
Psalm 139:6, Such knowledge is too wonderful H6383
139:14  I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works;

Deut 29:29, Job 15:8 and Psalm 25:14
Deuteronomy 5:11, 12, 15 The Name of YaHVaH

Matthew 1:21 in Hebrew “The One Who brought SALVATION from His Father"
IsaiYah 43:10-11 "I am he: before Me there was no elohim formed, neither shall there be after Me. I, even I am YaHVaH and beside me there is no saviour. "
ZechariYah 9:9 Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.

There never was a name as Jesus until 1600 C.E. In the Hebrew text it is Yashua (Yahosha, dropping "shua").

Ps 102:15-21 “EVEN THE HEATHEN SHALL FEAR THE NAME OF YAHVAH
AND ALL THE KINGS OF THE EARTH (shall fear) THY MAJESTY.

"When YHVH shall build up Zion, He shall appear in His esteem.
He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer.
This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise YHVH.
For He hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did YHVH behold the earth;
To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death; Vs 21: To declare the name of YHVH in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem;
When the people are gathered together, and the kingdoms, to serve YHVH."

Tehilim/Psalms 22:22 “I will declare Thy Name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise Thee.”
29:2 – “I will declare Thy Name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise Thee.”
44:20-22 –“ If we have forgotten the name of our Maker, or stretched out our hands to a strange elohim or god;
Shall not YHVH search this out for He knoweth the secrets of the heart?
Yea, for Thy sake are we killed all the day long; we are counted as sheep for the slaughter.”

WHEN WAS YAHVAH CHANGED TO JEHOVAH?

The point is, we want to use Messiah's True Name and not a substitute or corruption of His Name.  So, I extrapolate..

The letter "J" came into partial use after 1565 C.E..

If the letter "J" did not come into common use until after 1565 C.E. the names Jehovah and Jesus would not have been used until 1565 C.E. or after
Exceptions included possibly the KJV 1611 edition. They used the 'I"..

YaHOSHA or YaHVaHOSHA Messiah was changed by Greeks and Romans.

Messiah’s Name was changed to the Greek about 350 C.E. as Iaseus, and to English as Jesus after 1567 C.E.
If the letter "J" did not come into use until about 1565 C.E. the names Jehovah and Jesus would not have been used commonly until after 1565 C.E..

The Encyclopedia Britanica Revised 1954 Page 995 under "JeHoVaH" believes the letter "J" came earlier.  "The pronunciation 'Jehovah' is an error...
It is first found in manuscripts of Martini's Pugio Fidei (1278)...and Galatinus (1518)."  We are not the final authoritative word on language changes. We continue the study about "When the J was first used" but first things first.

An ineffable Name?
"The unscriptural superstitious teaching of the Jews: The Name is not to be uttered."  The Divine Name in Exodus 3:14 by Arnold J.B.L. volume 24 (1905) Page 144.  See "Come Out of Her My People" by C.J. Koster.

MESSIAH'S NAME

"The Name of the Savior is Yahoshua" by J. David Klopfenstein can be studied.  The correct spelling of His Name is found in this website. "Yahshua, (incorrect spelling) Son of Joseph?" by C.O. Dodd.  The proper spelling of the Master’s Name is derived from Yosha (Joshua).  Messiah’s Name was changed in the Greek and to English as Jesus after 1567 C.E.  The original Name is not written in the N.T. text.  You will find little Hebrew there.  We use the Name YaHoSHA. The proof is given in this www.YaHVaHYahweh.Name  website.

"JESUS CHRIST" From The Interpreter's Dictionary of the Bible: "The English form goes back to the Latin (Iesus) which transliterates (not translates) the Greek; but the original form was Joshua, or more fully Yehoshuah." “HO” means “Salvation of YHVH”.  We hope to show that “Shua” in “Yehoshuah” is incorrect and corrupt.  [See below “Where Did the Name of Yashua Come from?”]
From  "The Word, HalleluYah", by J. David Klopfenstein, House of YaHVaH,  2672N-500E, Kendallville, IN. 46755 USA:
"Scholars know that our Savior wasn't known by the name, "Jesus". The fact that many have come to "accept" the "person" of the Savior while knowing only a name “Jesus” does not make that His actual name.
He was born a Hebrew as prophesied in IsaiYah 9:6, Micah 5:2 etc.  But "Jesus" is not Hebrew.  It is in fact derived from the Greek name "Iesous" which is found in the Greek...According to the Liddel and Scott Greek Lexicon, "Iesous" is the Ionic masculine form of the name, "Iaso" (the Greek goddess of healing).  See the word, ‘Iaso’.
 “For the name, Iesous to be the same as the Hebrews 'YaHoSHA' it must also have the word salvation, and the name, YaHVaH, in the name.

The Greek word for "Salvation" is "Soterion", #4992 in Strongs Concordance.  The Greek word for "Savior" is Soter #4990 Strongs.
“NEITHER OF THESE WORDS IS IN THE NAME, JESUS OR IESOUS. So the name is not a translated name.  The only alternative is it is a transliterated name.
Jesus or Heyseus is used in Mexico. In Jerusalem it was not used, since it is not Hebrew.

H3467 YAHSHA “..bring (having) salvation. Sav (ior).”

WHERE DID THE NAME YAHSHUA/YEHSHUA COME FROM?

Yeshua #3442  Does Yahshua mean Salvation? Was "O-shea (Hoshea, Jehoshua as in the language of Canaan) in Numbers 13:16 the right Hebrew word translated, for the word "Salvation"?  No, it should be "YaHoSHA".  Here is the problem with “shua” in Yashua:
"Shua" 7775, 7768 means "crying for help", the name of a female Canaanite, in Hebrew, or any language. Strong's No: 7775;  Pronounced:  shua
Trans. & freq. in the AV— cry 11 times; 11 occurrences of Hebrew word in AV
“Cry for help” Strong’s #7768 Transliterated: shava;  Pronounced: shaw-vah' also (Piel) to cry out (for help), shout.
The Hebrew word for Salvation is "Sha", #3467 Yasha is a root word for the Savior, from IsaiYah 43:10-11, and Salvation for the Savior or Son from Zech. 9:9.  The words Savior and Salvation are given the same Hebrew number because of their close relationship to each other, but each word can only be used according to its proper language usage of the past, present or future tense, in order to be understood.
Sorry, but Yahshua is a Hellenized word.  The Hellenized translators didn't understand the Hebrew Name of the Son, because THEY had nailed it to the stake, and removed "HO" from the Son's Name. The "Ho" must be put back into His name, as "Ho! The salvation of YaHVaH!" in Zech. 9:9, Nu 13:16 in the Original Hebrew, before the Translators changed it, just as they changed “YaHVaH” to "LORD".

Examine “WHY THE V IN YAHVAH not YAHWEH” The document will prove that the “V” in YaHVaH came before the now very popular name, YaHWeH, use of the “W” and different forms.
